Adopt A Park

Downtown Park

The City of Hopkins is looking for individuals or groups who will help care for our neighborhood parks and trails.

These individuals or groups commit to:

  • Pick up litter and clean up refuse at least once quarterly
  • Gather loose branches, sticks, and other potentially harmful objects from public areas
  • Remove leaves from playground equipment and rake woodchips back into playground containers
  • Notify Public Works of any vandalism, graffiti, maintenance issues or necessary repairs, cleanliness issues, and unsafe conditions.

The City will provide the bags and disposal services, as well as a posted sign in the park or on the trail, recognizing the individual or group.
