The Depot Coffee House is open to the public and offers the best unique and lovely espresso drinks and freshly brewed coffee roasted locally in Northeast Minneapolis. The coffee is both organic and Fair Trade—principles important to the Depot as a socially and environmentally responsible business.
The Depot is a renovated train depot in Hopkins, Minnesota that now serves as a coffee house, youth community project and trailhead for area bike trails. It was planned and opened by area students and their allies in 1998 to create a chemically-free environment for teens.
The Depot also serves as an important asset to the community by providing students all over the West Metro an opportunity to create their own place to learn, relax, and have fun while directing both a coffee shop and an entertainment venue.

The Depot Coffee House also powers a 150 person venue called The Freight Room. The Freight Room specializes in booking high school talent and up-and-coming artists.
Sunday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Thursday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
