The Hopkins Race and Equity Initiative is hosting a town hall event on voting on Wednesday, October 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., in the Eishenhower Community Center Auditorium.
The panel discussion will feature Cheryl Youakim, DFL State Representative for Hopkins and St. Louis Park, Emma Greenman, DFL State Representative for Minneapolis and Richfield, and David Maeda, Director of Elections Office of Minnesota Secretary of State, and will be moderated by Hopkins High School History and Social Studies Teacher Rick Rexroth.
Topics covered will include voter suppression and ballot security.
