Cops and Community Bingo is April 14

The Hopkins Police Department is hosting their annual spring Cops and Community Bingo on Sunday, April 14, at 2 p.m., at the Hopkins Activity Center, 33 14th Avenue N. For $20, play 10 games and help support the Hopkins Crime Prevention Fund and Youth Outreach. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Cash only. Seating is limited. Participants must be 18+.

Arbor Day Celebration is April 25

Join the City of Hopkins for an Arbor Day Celebration on Thursday, April 25, from 3 to 5 p.m., on Mainstreet between 5th and 6th Avenues. Stop by for cookies and help the City plant a few trees along Mainstreet. 

Board and Commission Applications Now Open

Interested in serving your community? The City of Hopkins is seeking applicants to serve on our boards and commissions. Boards and commissions perform a vital role in the life of our community. Many of the City’s decisions, policies, and procedures are founded on recommendations from a board or commission. The City currently has openings on the Planning and Zoning Commission, Park Board and Charter Commission. Learn more about City boards and commissions, and apply online. The deadline to apply is April 26.

CEO Now brings together savvy small business owners to collaborate and learn together in a nationally recognized curriculum from Interise. If you’re looking for systems to scale your business, check out CEO Now and apply to join an upcoming peer group. This program is at no cost for eligible businesses in Hopkins thanks to collaborative investments from Hennepin and Ramsey Counties. Learn more and apply.
